The Standard size 5.5 oz Fury and 3.5 oz Phantom buckles come with 1.25″ nylon webbing, while the Large 6 oz Ferocious and Oval Frenzy buckles come with 1.5″ nylon webbing — with the brown or black side facing out, in whatever length you need. The super comfortable, flexible, lightweight, high-grip, high-density custom ballistic nylon will over time shape itself to conform to the wearer, but unlike conventional mil-spec nylon or leather, will not stretch in any meaningful way, even after many years of use. Leather does not meet our standards, and soon shows signs of wear, with creases, cracks and warping. In addition, it is not flexible enough to get a tight wrap on, and will easily slip in one’s hand. Siege Belts are also amphibious and designed to handle salt water activity, unlike leather and many buckles.
